As you've probably guessed from my name I'm not from around these part. I'm originally from Italy, a little place called Piedemonte de Alife but have lived in the UK for over 40 years and love it here.
Coming from a strict Italian background my parents didn't feel it appropriate for me to go to drama school, so I spent several years working as a legal secretary before having a child and going on to study for a degree in the performing arts in my early 30's. This eventually led me into a very happy career working as a performer with many theatre groups and later on as a specialist teacher in state and independent schools in Suffolk.
I still teach children on the autistic spectrum on Saturday mornings at the New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich, but following further training a few years ago am also now a certified holistic practitioner working as a volunteer therapist at St. Elizabeth's Hospice and run a small private practice when I'm not working as Dr. Fidget!
