Creative activity sessions for people with dementia and their
carers.
“This is just what I need,
to be treated normally.”
After a successful first year, Artlink is continuing to work
in partnership with The Alzheimer’s Society to deliver
creative activity sessions for people with dementia and their
carers.
“Look at that, you can’t
tell who has dementia here in this room.”
Sessions will take place in West Suffolk (Bury St Edmunds) in
October – November 2008 and in Ipswich and Waveney in the
New Year.
“What would I be doing at home now with her. She’d
be driving me mad but now just look at her”
These workshops are a chance to come and have a go at something
new together in an informal environment. If you are or you care
for someone with dementia and would like to find out more about
these sessions, please contact Alex at Suffolk Artlink 01986

“This sort of thing is brilliant for my husband, otherwise
he’d be sitting at home withdrawn with himself.”
