It will be taking place at Sam’s Café, in Lowestoft, on Saturday 1st April between 2 – 5pm. International DJ, producer and singer, Tallulah Goodtimes will be in attendance with full DJ kit to get everyone in the mood and help anyone wishing to have a go.
Complete beginners are welcome, as are more seasoned young DJs. Participants can either bring mixes they’ve already made, or create a new one on the day.
The new event is part of our popular Rock Up project, which offers young people in Lowestoft a range of inspiring ways to develop their musical interests and talents through weekly music sessions together.
Making music is a great way for young people to explore their creativity and develop new skills and confidence, so we are looking forward to sharing this brand new opportunity with budding young musicians in Lowestoft.
Fifteen minute slots will be bookable on the afternoon, so that everyone gets a chance to have a go! And if any of our young DJs get bitten by the music bug during the event, our weekly Rock Up music sessions continue at Colville House Senior Youth Club until July this year. We’d welcome new members to join us!
Sam’s Café can be found at 132 Bevan Street East, Lowestoft. For more information about the event, please call the café on 01502 527200.
