Our project officers and artists are continuing to reshape our projects to maintain creative connections with you whilst we can’t be together.
We are designing many of our activities for our existing participants. And the joy of delivering online means that we also welcome everyone to have a look around and have a try of anything that you might enjoy!
Details of our current activities, by project, are listed below:
Around the Table
Our wonderful project officer, Kasia, has been working alongside a group of professional artists to create novel initiatives to continue to support our family carers in the coming weeks and months.
We’re offering new ways for our carers to stay in touch and stay inspired with activities including live online cook ups, growing an edible flower garden and foraging fact files. You can find more information here.
Every Wednesday we post a creative challenge for our students, to carry out during the following week. And everyone’s welcome to join in! The results are posted on our Brave Art gallery, for all to enjoy. You can view the weekly challenges and gallery here.
Make, Do & Friends
As the artists can’t come out to see you all in person, they have been busy devising ways to run ‘virtual’ workshops from our experimental online creative space. Weekly creative activities aimed at adults (55+) living in rural Suffolk are posted every Friday – we’d love for you to join in.
We’re documenting how important the creative activities we are getting up to at the moment are are for strengthening us in the face of challenge, and the very welcome sense of joy and achievement they bring. Join our #CreatingOurNewNormal campaign, to ensure we remember what has supported us during this challenging time, so that we can keep them up and support our wellbeing in the future, whatever life brings!
