After a successful pilot year, we are thrilled to announce that our Around the Table project is growing!
As well as continuing to offer monthly sessions in Lowestoft, we are now expanding the project to also offer family carers in Claydon, Ipswich a chance to explore food, creativity and culture with like-minded people in regular half day workshops.
All of the new workshops are free of charge, and will be led by a rich variety of experienced professionals.
Expect to be inspired by passionate foodies, chefs, print makers, filmmakers and more as you explore the world of flavour and art in new and creative ways.
In previous sessions, attendees have had fun together making loaves of bread with their faces on, creating decorative Vietnamese delicacies and blending their very own personal spice mixes!
Claire said of her experience: “I really enjoyed it, learning something new. I wouldn’t normally get the chance to meet other adult carers.”
Janet added: “Really interesting food – I enjoyed making it. I forgot all my problems when soooo involved. ‘
Participants are welcome to attend any number of the workshops, there is no commitment to attend them all.
No experience is necessary and reasonable travel costs can be provided.
Places are free, but they are limited, so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
To book onto any of the workshops, or to find out more, please contact Kasia Don-Daniel, firstname.lastname@example.org / 01986 873955.
