We have recently taken over from Arts and Minds on the steering group for the Culture, Health and Wellbeing Alliance as the arts representative for the East. Working with the museums representative, University of Cambridge Museums, we are co-ordinating a regional network of people working in the sector in order to develop practice, share learning and raise the profile of the work happening across the region.
On 18th February, we met with a wide range of organisations from Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire to discuss ways of developing and growing the network. We can now announce that we will be holding the network’s first event at the Jerwood DanceHouse, Ipswich in May this year.
The event will be free, and open to all individuals and organisations with an interest in the meeting point between arts and culture, and wellbeing. The first event will focus on social prescribing and be a mix of talks, panel discussions and networking.
We’ll be in touch with more details soon, however if you’d like to register your initial interest, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will get in touch with further information when booking opens.
We look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible to our first event.
