This year, for the first time, we are being generously supported by Suffolk Open Studios, who will be holding a prize draw at their forthcoming open exhibition to support our work.
In advance of the main Open Studios, a highlight of this year’s Suffolk Open Studios programme will be the “Inspirations” exhibition of paintings and sculpture by participating artists at the Apex Gallery in Bury St Edmunds.
To support our fundraising efforts, a number of Suffolk Open Studios artists have kindly contributed works to a prize draw. All prize draw tickets are £1, and they can be purchased in person at the open show Private View on 9th April, or online between 9th April and 31st May. All proceeds from the prize draw will be donated towards our work.
The open exhibition begins Tuesday 10th April and runs till Monday 7th May; opening hours are 10am–5pm Monday–Saturday, and 10am–4pm on Sunday.
Suffolk Open Studios celebrates the county’s thriving artistic community with participating artists opening their studios to the public at weekends, giving visitors a unique opportunity to take a look “behind the scenes” and see them in action.
For 2018, the programme runs over the first 4 weekends of June, commencing Saturday 2 June. Over 100 artists and galleries are taking part, showing work across a wide range of media covering every aspect of art today, including painting, ceramics, glassware, pottery, sculpture and more.
This year we are looking forward to taking part in Suffolk Open Studios for the very first time. We’ll be showing some of our participant’s fab work and talking to visitors about how we use arts and creativity to help transform lives in Suffolk communities on 9th & 10th of June, in our offices at The Cut, Halesworth.
We look forward to seeing you then, and in the meantime don’t forget to check out the prize draw when it opens on the 9th April.
A huge thank you goes to Suffolk Open Studios for their support!
