We’re opening our doors for Suffolk Open Studios

May 23, 2018 by Suffolk Artlink

Suffolk Open Studios LogoFor the first time ever, we’ll be opening our doors to the public as we take part in Suffolk Open Studios this June.

If you’d like to see some of our participant’s amazing creations or chat to us about the work we do bringing skills, confidence and joy to Suffolk communities through the arts, we invite you to join us in our offices in Halesworth, 11am – 5pm on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June.

You can find more information and directions on the Suffolk Open Studios website.

As well as taking part in Suffolk Open Studios, we have been bowled over by the support of the Suffolk Open Studios artists who, this year, have partnered with us to help raise awareness and funds for our work.

There are just a few days left to take part in our special Prize Draw, giving you the chance to win one of 14 artworks generously donated by this year’s Suffolk Open Studios artists. Closing date for entries is 31 May. You can browse the artworks and buy tickets here.

Suffolk Open Studios celebrates the county’s thriving artistic community with participating artists opening their studios to the public at weekends, giving visitors a unique opportunity to take a look “behind the scenes” and see them in action.

For 2018, the programme runs over the first 4 weekends of June, commencing Saturday 2 June. Over 100 artists and galleries are taking part, showing work across a wide range of media covering every aspect of art today, including painting, ceramics, glassware, pottery, sculpture and more.

A huge thank you goes to Suffolk Open Studios for their support this year. If you’d like to visit some of the best artist studios in Suffolk, take a look at all the participating artists here.

We look forward to welcoming you on the 9th and 10th June!
