Maddie was born and brought up in Suffolk. After 20 years away at University and in work, Maddie returned with her young family to the County she loves.  Maddie is currently Chief Operating Officer for Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group and Health and Care Alliance. 

Maddie’s roles prior to joining the NHS were as an economic development consultant, working with businesses, local authorities and local communities to harness economic and social benefits from physical regeneration and as Director of Policy at the National Employment Panel. 

Maddie is passionate about the ways in which art can help develop individuals’ and communities’ physical and mental health as well as educational attainment.
