Stef Thorne

Stef has worked in higher education since 2001 at the University of East London, University of Suffolk and is currently at University of the Arts London as Associate Director Knowledge Exchange.

She is an experienced senior leader and has always been passionate about the importance of education to transform lives and communities and the relationship between education and industry. She currently works to connect creative industries and organisations with higher education to realise the transformational potential of creativity.

Stef is a Chair of Governors for a primary school in Ipswich and a Trustee for the East Anglian Schools Trust. In her spare time she raises four children and enjoys the Suffolk countryside and coast.
