Suffolk Artlink visits the House of Lords
Suffolk Artlink visited the House of Lords today to speak at the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Creative Health Roundtable event.
Lucy Chandler, a participant from Suffolk Artlink’s Curious Minds programme, spoke movingly, sharing her experience of how participating in creative activities has positively impacted her health and wellbeing.
Attending with Lucy were Alexandra Casey and Jen Johnson from Suffolk Artlink and Louise Hardwick, Deputy Director of Partnerships, Suffolk & North East Essex Integrated Care Board.
Curious Minds is an artist-led, creative course for people aged 18+ living with complex health needs. The programme is delivered by Suffolk Artlink in partnership with Suffolk Community Libraries, the Food Museum and the Ipswich and East Suffolk Alliance. Funded by Suffolk County Council and Ipswich the East Suffolk Alliance and public donations.
