The change started with the very first Extra Time session; it was so engaging, interesting and inspiring, focusing on the history of the Garrett Works and the origins of the football teams, especially the women’s team.

The inclusion of the various memorabilia which sparked such positive discussion made history feel real and relevant.

Now, I feel more inspired to learn much more about local and British history, how we became who we are. I now enjoy history and archaeology whenever I have the opportunity to watch, listen and learn.
