“People being included is important. Everyone should be able to have art in their lives, that’s what I believe.”

“I’m inspired by stories especially about friendship and kindness. I am deaf/blind and I want my art to be for everyone. I like animation because it adds sound and vision. I made a piece for the Bury St Edmunds Theatre Royal that was made of different materials so that if you were blind you could touch and feel the art to understand it. People being included is important. Everyone should be able to have art in their lives, that’s what I believe.

I like to push myself and try new things even if it’s hard. Sometimes I get frustrated but then I do it and see how far I’ve come. When I make art I feel so proud of myself.  I love working with other people and collaborating. It feels good to make art together.”
