“I like looking at picture books. I’m looking for ideas. I need some inspiration and help to get started. I like drawing. I fill up my sketchbook with pencil drawings and then I pick the colours I want to use to paint. When I first came to Brave Art I didn’t know what art was. I like doing artwork, it makes me feel happy and I like seeing my friends. My favourite materials are paint and Posca pens.”

Art is a source of joy for Caroline, a way to express herself and connect with the world around her. Caroline likes to paint on canvas, she takes her time with her work, sometimes spending weeks on a single piece, carefully planning and refining her ideas. Once Caroline starts painting she becomes fully absorbed in her work, focusing deeply on bringing her ideas to life. (Shelly O’Brien)
