George Cunningham

“It’s good to be altogether at Brave Art sharing ideas and having fun”

George has been making art daily for a long time and has developed a clear style.  He works with extended patterns – or as he like to call them – ‘large doodles’. His work often reflects his interest in other cultures and his extensive global travels, using them as inspiration for his use of shape and colour.

George likes to work with colourful materials including pen, paint pen, pencil, acrylic and watercolour paint. He often works on paper or canvas but has also made 3D. He is enjoying becoming more experimental with his work, using repeated patterning and printing onto canvas. He has also been using his colourful calico patterns to create 3D shapes and animals.
