Dashiel Kemal

Dash draws upon his childhood experiences of travel and multiculturalism when making his work. He is currently concentrating on a long-term book project to document all the places he has lived, filled with illustrations and written memories. He enjoys bold colours and expressive mark-making, and is motivated by the sensory qualities of clay and hand-painting. (Eleanor Rodwell)
