Brave Art back for the summer term

Brave Art is back for the summer term after a two week Easter break.

We have an exciting journey ahead of us this term as we continue to explore our One World theme, moving on from exploring culture through music, soca dancing, Argentine tango, and much more. This term, we will be taking a closer look at the many animals of our world, with a keen focus on birds and insects.

We will also be printing a number of t-shirts and tote bags, while also exploring canvas and acrylic art. Additionally, this term will also see several taster sessions happening in colleges in Lowestoft and Ipswich, hoping to recruit members for the Brave Art project and offer opportunities to potential students for September.

This term will culminate in an exhibition in July in Ipswich, where friends, family and supporters of Suffolk Artlink will be invited to celebrate Brave Artists achievements over the year in all three locations, Bury, Ipswich and Lowestoft.

Last term, one of our Lowestoft students, Sophie, was quoted as saying “I feel that this term has been very exciting, and full of many different opportunities!”

The details for the Summer term sessions are as follows:

Bury – Every Tuesday starting 26th April (Excl. 31st May)

Ipswich – Every Wednesday starting 27th April (Excl. 1st June)

Lowestoft – Every Thursday starting 28th April (Excl. 2nd June)
