Partying in Pettaugh
On Sunday we held our very first Garden Party fundraiser in Pettaugh, and what a great day it was!
As the sun shone, we welcomed friends and neighbours to the beautiful surroundings of Laffitt’s Hall for a day of Suffolk Artlink magic!
The art marquee was a popular spot, giving visitors the chance to try drawing with natural inks, abstract art, monster mask making and more.
The Monster Trail, created by our Brave Art students, saw youngsters heading into the woods on a hunt for the weird and wonderful. The Doggy Photo Booth welcomed a stylishly dressed selection of furry customers through the day, and the raffle and tombola were a hit!
In between all the excitement, our visitors sat and enjoyed refreshments whilst listening to a great selection of live music and DJs provided by local talents including Jan Pulsford, Aartwork, Misery Gutz and Gussie Stafford.
Huge thanks go to the incredible team of volunteers who helped the day run smoothly, and to our Trustee, Jane Dyball, and her family for so generously hosting the event. We couldn’t have done it without you all!
The day raised over £1,500 towards our work, a brilliant result for our first event. We are looking forward to making it an annual feature of the Suffolk Artlink calendar, making it bigger and better each summer – watch this space!
