Taking some Extra Time to volunteer
We were delighted to be part of the Halesworth Volunteer Day today; it was a great opportunity to share some of our footballing stories, show off the magnificent Extra Time banner and chat to others working in the local community.
The event was organised by Halesworth Dementia Carers’ Fund, The Pear Tree Fund and Halesworth Volunteers, together with Christies Care; it was lovely to meet so many of you – and the cake was delicious.
Thank you to everyone who shared their ‘goals’ with us – it made for a very impressive net by the end of the event.

Extra Time at the Heritage Open Days
As part of the national Heritage Open Days festival, Extra Time visited the Leiston Long Shop Museum, to exhibit participants’ work and make clay medals and the Heritage Skills Market at the Triangle in Lowestoft, to do a bit of giant knitting and table top weaving.
