What is Around the Table:
The Around the Table project aims to explore food, creativity and culture in regular workshops, to offer adult carers a moment of respite from their caring role. The workshops will enable carers to develop new support systems, build their confidence and enjoy a new sense of passion and achievement in their daily lives.
All workshops are free of charge, no experience is necessary and reasonable travel costs can also be provided.
Participants are welcome to attend as many or as few of the two and a half hour workshops as they are able. These workshops will run approximately monthly.
Who is Around the Table for:
Adult family carers caring for an adult
When & Where is Around the Table happening:

If you can’t make the sessions, our project blog is open to all adult family carers interested in learning more about food, art and culture. Useful and interesting content from the project will be shared, but it’s also a place that others can get involved by sharing their ideas and asking questions. Contributions are welcomed from all!
Venue accessibility: level wheelchair access with manual doors, lift, accessible toilets, sessions are on the ground floor, parking on site. More information on the accessibility can be found on AccessAble’s page for Unit 9, Suffolk Family Carers Hub Cafe
