We welcomed Kirkley residents to grow, eat and share through a series of inspiring, social and creative weekly get-togethers centred around Kirkley.
From foraging and cooking, to drawing and dance, we creatively explored the area with residents, friends and neighbours.
Activities were led by artists, Carrie Phoenix and Kasia Posen, alongside guests including forager, Jon Tyler and dance theatre company Casson & Friends.
What inspired this project?
Inspired through new partnerships working with First Light Festival, Community Action Suffolk and Kirkley Pantry, Kirkley Creates worked with local people to develop new connections and a sense of pride in their area.
