Curious Minds in Felixstowe

Following our highly successful programmes in Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Leiston, Saxmundham and Ipswich we are returning back to Felixstowe Library for the next programme this summer.

Working with professional artists, Eleanor Rodwell and Michelle Brace, participants will explore aspects of the collections from the Food Museum in Stowmarket to inspire their creativity. Participants can expect to work with a wide range of creative techniques including relaxation techniques, digital photography, textiles, 3D clay and sculptural art, drawing and experimental mark making. No creative experience is necessary as these workshops are an opportunity to connect, learn and develop new skills to promote overall well being.

Participants will also have the opportunity of a final exhibition at the library as part of the programme.

The programme starts with a taster session on Monday July 28th 1.30-3.30pm for 12 weeks ending on Monday October 13th.

Please note that in the taster session on Monday July 28th we will be just meeting each other, the artists and the Curious Minds team. Come and join us and see what you think of the programme.

We are in the ground floor meeting room on the right as you enter the library building.

Please note, Felixstowe Library is in a town centre location with good public transport links and limited on site parking so please consider walking, cycling, using public transport or parking in the pay and display car park opposite.
