Curious Minds in Ipswich
Following our highly successful programmes in Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Leiston, Saxmundham and Ipswich we are returning back to Ipswich County Library for the next programme this Autumn.
Working with professional artists, Sarah Lewis and Alice Andrea Ewing, participants will explore aspects of the collections from the Food Museum in Stowmarket to inspire their creativity. Participants can expect to work with a wide range of creative techniques including relaxation techniques, movement, textiles, 3D clay and sculptural art, drawing and experimental mark making. No creative experience is necessary as these workshops are an opportunity to connect, learn and develop new skills to promote overall well being.
Participants will also have the opportunity of a final exhibition at the library as part of the programme.
The programme starts on Monday November 3rd 1.30-3.30pm for 12 weeks ending on Monday February 2nd with a 2 week break for the festive period.
Please note that the first session will be a gentle introduction to the programme, an opportunity to meet each other, the artists and the Curious Minds team. Come and join us and see what you think of the programme.
We are in the old IT suite at the Library and lift access is available. If you require a member of our team to meet you outside before the session starts then please do let us know.
Please note, Ipswich County Library is in a town centre location with good public transport links and limited on site parking so please consider walking, cycling, using public transport or parking in the pay and display car parks.
