Suffolk Artlink at First Light Festival 2025

Not one but two Suffolk Artlink programmes come together to offer an afternoon of making, playing and getting to grips with a large willow sphere.

Since 2023, local school children and care home residents have explored Lowestoft’s rich footballing heritage through the Extra Time programme.

At First Light, we will celebrate the Archive All-Stars with a series of creative activities and by parading the giant Extra Time banner over to join the footballers for a bit of a kick around.

Little Beats is our music programme for 0-5 year olds and their grown-ups. The tent will be full of sound and light adventures for everyone to explore and enjoy – including a mysterious willow structure.

Is it a cave full of music and messages? Is it a football with goals inside the net? Come and join us on the beach to find out.
