Extra Time is a 12-week programme of weekly sessions; before it even begins, we visit the school, in this case Leiston Primary School, to tell the Year 5 pupils a little about it, and ask them why they’d like to take part.

Doing more art, meeting people and learning more about football, as well as taking time away from the play station, were just a few of the many reasons for wanting to join the team.

“I want to join Extra Time because it will be a fun thing to do.” 2 people having a picnic.

I want to join Extra Time because I love to make friends with people as you can see in the picture. As I am asking a new student if we can be friends

“… because I really like art and I also want to take a look at the aspect of football and the stories behind it. I also think I am capable to show up every Monday.”
