Artist development

Developing and supporting participatory practitioners is key to Suffolk Artlink’s thriving relationship with our freelance artists and how we work dynamically together to develop and deliver our work.

With a focus on inclusive practice and supporting our participants health and wellbeing, we offer this in a number of ways: through opportunities to collaborate in multi disciplinary teams in the development phase of projects; masterclass opportunities in specific areas of practice to develop new skills and expertise are offered as part of our programmes; support from our expert team of project staff to gain experience in planning and delivering sessions in a particular area of our work, e.g. intergenerational work, or working with people with learning disabilities.

In the video below artist who worked on our VR Adventures project discuss their experience of working together on the project.
