Early Years CPD with Magic Acorns + Autumn Network Meeting

Magic Acorns are embarking on a national Roadshow of Taster Days to gather broader perspectives on early years arts training needs and share our approach to Creative Professional Development (CPD) with artists, educators and arts organisations across the country. This initiative is supported by Arts Council England.

We are excited to be partnering with Suffolk Artlink for a day of networking and free CPD at Stella Maris Hall in Lowestoft on 23rd November 2026. Our Play Day will offer a unique opportunity for educators, practitioners, artists and musicians to explore and strengthen their early years creative practice with us.

The day will be led by Sophie Fox and Charly Jolly, both specialist artists with experience in music, arts, collaboration, early childhood, creativity and play.

The Roadshow is more than just training: it’s an opportunity to come together and share expertise and experience with our community of practice in and around Lowestoft. We’re inviting you to step into the world of early years arts through a lens of creativity and collaboration, and to strengthen connections across this sector.

Drawing on our hyper-local approach, built over 25 years working with families in Great Yarmouth, and our own successful Play Days CPD model, we will be offering an immersive, joyful session that prioritises unhurried time, connection and reflective practice. You will be leaving with your cup filled up!

Refreshments: Tea and Coffee will be provided

What to bring: Wear comfortable clothes to move about in, a water bottle, a notebook and pen if you like to make notes.
